Megan Raises Money for Riding for Disabled
We would also like to thank Megan who visited our Children's session to present us a cheque, who, with her young friends, organised a show jumping event on her yard, not just for ponies, but for dogs as well and raised £460.22! A fabulous achievement for someone so young.
We are so grateful to our loyal sponsors and to those who have joined us and those who have given up, sometimes a considerable amount of their time to raise money and keep us riding. We thank you so much.
Top team... Ten-year-old Megan Shemmell represented Stratford Preparatory School in the Inter-Schools Eventer Challenge in the under 12 section and came first out of 50 riders in her section. She had to compelete a set of show-jumps and a cross country course and with her pony Charlie completed the course with no penalties and with the closest optimum time. Megan said: "I was very proud to represent my school and was really pleased with the win. I am very lucky to have Charlie as he is a great pony and always looks after me and keeps me safe
